Passing on our faith to our children is an important responsibility. Those who undertake this ministry serve as catechists (teachers) in our CCD program as well as assisting with sacramental preparation.

A major emphasis at St. Agnes Parish is the role of the parents/guardians as the primary educators of their children. I am privileged to be able to assist families in that task by helping the children get to know Jesus Christ more fully through the Sacraments and Church life. It also takes the time, talent, and resources of our entire parish community to provide excellent religious education programs and the dedication of our volunteer catechists who have committed themselves to teach and assist children into a deeper relationship with Christ.
We will seek to provide for the children and their families, the tools of knowledge and faith to live out their commitment to God, and a foundation of Catholic truth on which to build the rest of their lives.
